The Explorer Compact packs a full inspection system into a shoulder-carry briefcase. Its cassette-style spools drop in and out without tools, so a single control unit covers 2 in laterals through 6 in lines by simply swapping the reel and head. The standard package ships with a 100 ft 6 mm (0.24 in) spool and a 23 mm fixed camera head; optional spools add a 131 ft 5.2 mm (0.20 in) micro rod for tight laterals and an 82 ft 7 mm (0.28 in) rod for stiffer pushes. The lid-mounted monitor records to USB with on-screen text overlay, and the whole kit runs on an internal rechargeable battery for work with no site power.
